MCX Control

PAPER TRADING · INDIAN MARKETS

Paper trading in India, across the markets you follow.

MCX Control is a browser-based paper trading and market-learning community. Practise supported MCX commodity contracts, NIFTY and BANK NIFTY options, SENSEX derivatives and NSE equities with virtual funds. Availability depends on the instrument catalogue and data connection; no order is sent to an exchange.

Virtual funds. Educational use.No real orders, withdrawable profits or promised returns. MCX Control is not SEBI-registered. Read disclosures.

What can you practise here?

Move from an instrument watchlist to a chart, create a simulated order, manage an open position and review its history. Market, limit and stop orders help you explore different entry and exit mechanics. Target and stop-loss controls let you plan an exit before reviewing the outcome. These tools teach a workflow; simulated results do not establish what a real trade would earn.

Choose a market before choosing a trade

Start with one segment rather than opening unrelated positions across every market. NIFTY and BANK NIFTY options introduce strikes, expiry and premiums. SENSEX uses a different underlying and contract catalogue. MCX adds commodity contracts, contract units and different sessions. Check the selected symbol, expiry, lot size and quote status each time you switch.

A practical first session

Create an account by verifying your email with a six-digit code; your phone number is optional. Sign in with your email and password or request an email OTP. Open Paper Trading, search for an available contract and inspect its details. Use a small virtual position, record why you entered, define an exit and review the result in order history. Repeating a consistent process is more useful than resetting the account after every loss.

Community and practice share one account

The community feed supports simple text posts, educational trade examples and strategy discussions. Members can like or dislike posts and follow profiles. Premium and Verified are platform membership indicators, not professional qualifications or regulatory endorsements. Treat other members’ posts as material to question and study, rather than instructions to place real orders.

Know the limits of simulation

Virtual balances have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn. Catalogue coverage, market sessions and data availability can change. A market order still needs a usable quote; a pending order is not a guaranteed fill. Real trading adds fees, taxes, liquidity, slippage, broker risk controls and emotional pressure. Check the terminal status before interpreting a result.
